Rachel Alexander – CEO and Founder of Omina Technologies

Rachel is CEO and founder of Omina Technologies, an AI company dedicated to ethical AI solutions, and recently won the award for ‘Artificial Intelligence Person of the Year’ in Belgium. Rachel is responsible for the technological vision and strategy of Omina Technologies.

During her physics studies at Indiana University she became fascinated by the world of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Rachel has lived and worked in Belgium for the past twenty years devoting herself to helping companies navigate new technological advances and incorporating them seamlessly into their strategy. Before founding Omina Technologies Rachel worked as Global IT Director at Studio100 and in the management of CSC.

Philippe Van Impe – CEO and Founder of DigitYser.org

Philippe Van Impe is a Founding Partner of the AI & Data Science Community, a large open community of specialists in data and business. The community’s activities aim to bridge the gap between businesses and academia, through regular meetups, training and ‘Data for Good’ projects, where members contribute their skills to work on projects with NGO’s, public institutions and start-ups.

Philippe is also the Founder of the European Data Innovation Hub, which connects and supports data professionals throughout Europe to share and discuss best practices in open data, big data and data innovation. Philippe is the CEO and Founder of DigitYser.org, the digital flagship of Brussels where communities gather to learn, co-create and implement digital solutions focused on Blockchain, AI, IOT & VR.
