John Prendergast has over 25 years of experience in business, primarily in the building sector. He has held senior roles at both PlaceMakers and Humes Pipeline Systems (part of the Fletcher Building Group) as well as at Carter Holt Harvey.
His operational experience covers business unit and functional level management, including financial responsibility. He has also worked in the area of strategic development and implementation.
Throughout his career, John has been involved with various procurement initiatives, including vendor management inventory and partnership initiatives.
He has a Post Graduate Diploma of Management from Auckland University.
John's clients have included Auckland City Council, Barfoot and Thompson, Brightwater Engineers, Eagle Technology, Provenco Group, Sky Network TV, Watercare Services, Metroglasstech, Tubepack, Jenkins Group, Team McMillan BMW, NZ King Salmon and Auckland Museum.
