Eb Schmidt has a passion for organization, productivity improvement and cost reduction - essential qualities for business success in the 21st century. Over his 25-year corporate career, Schmidt has held management positions in the areas of quality and operations, in several global companies. He has experience implementing lean management tools, continuous improvement programs and company-wide cost reduction projects.

Schmidt has a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the RWTH Aachen in Germany and holds certificates from the DGQ (German equivalent of ASQ) in Statistics, Quality Management and Quality Auditing. He has been an ASQ member since 2003.
